If you are going to install Final Cut Server on a Xserve or Mac Mini you will get this error message “Alert, Requirements Checker requires that your system have a Quartz Extreme capable video card”.
First insert the Final Cut Server install disk or mount the Install DMG. Copy the entire DMG to your desktop or any other writable location. Right click on “Final Cut Server.mpkg” and select “Show Original”.
Now Right click on “FinalCutServer.mpkg” and select “Show Package Contents”. Browse to Contents > Resources.
Find the Requirement Checker file and delete it.
Now you should be able to install Final Cut Server without the Installer complaining about your video card.
